The week prior to FlightsimCon 2018, I was unable to boot my computer into Microsoft Windows 10. I narrowed the issue down to an update with corrupted files. After trying to fix it for an entire week by following many guides found on the internet, I decided to do a clean install.
After performing a clean install of Windows 10, I wanted to make sure everything was working before I installed Steam and the rest of my programs. The first program I make sure to install is Google Chrome. Unfortunately, Google Chrome refused to connect to any webpages, displaying "establishing secure network" in the lower part of the browser.
I tried to follow many different guides on the internet, but I was unable to fix the problem. I even tried flashing the BIOS and updating all of my drivers. Again, I tried a complete reinstall of Windows 10, and again, Google Chrome failed to connect!
After returning home after FlightSimCon 2018, I decided to try a Windows Reset. This is an option located in the Windows Control Panel.
Fortunately, this option fixed my problem, and now everything is running as it should. If you ever encounter a similar issue, I recommend you try this!
